Slight Increase in The Education Budget in Pakistan

Islamabad: The federal government in the next fiscal year’s budget has allocated Rs 64 billion for education, last year 59 billion was earmarked for education, academics few percent increase in the education budget, has expressed response equal to 2% of GDP on education spending rate will improve education.

Although educators say the education department has been devolved to the government to increase the budget of 5 billion Rupees is a good omen.

Academics say that all political parties including PML-N manifesto on education at least 4% of GDP, which fulfil the promises could not be.
