The Program US-Pakistan knowledge corridor established in June 2020 as a result to provide education in the field of science and technology and in medical field for Pakistani students, the government of Pakistan envisions enhancing enrollment in higher education upto to 5+ million by 2025 and outreach of HEIs at district level. For the purpose of providing top level education for Pakistani students and the number of students 10,000/-.
The 10,000/- Pakistani students will be get scholarships in the field of doctoral studies in top level universities of United States of America
Currently HEC is focusing on sending 1500/- PhD scholars to the leading US universities from Fall session 2020.
Eligibility criteria:
Pakistani AJK nationals
Have completed MS or Mphil or equivalent degree 18 years of education from hec recognized university.
Have acquire GRE and ToEFL scores that is required for admission in US universities
Candidates have already secured admission or enrolled in PhD program in top 200 universities in the above field may also apply for scholarship.
Have an active commitment to serve the universities / R&D organizations in Pakistan after completion of study.
