Rescue 1122 service will be extended to 6 remaining districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this year, enabling all districts of KP to have Rescue 1122 service. The expansion of Rescue 1122 will create 1000+ jobs for the youth. Rescue 1122 already extended to all tribal districts.

Rescue 1122 staff got comprehensive training in Infection Prevention at PKLI
A three-day training session was held at Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center (PKLI&RC) from 22-24 June 2020, where the staff members of Rescue 1122 were briefed with the basic prevention guidelines on COVID-19 by the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) department of the hospital.

The course was designed for healthcare professionals (HCPs) to prevent the patient, healthcare workers (HCWs), and families from COVID-19 infection. Detailed aspects of infection control guidelines, including donning and doffing methods were covered in the course, which will help the healthcare providers (HCPs) to implement the prevention strategies while dealing at the various levels in the community.

A year ago we had Rescue 1122 coverage in 17 districts. We put a stake on the ground to ensure emergency services across KP.
Within a year we expanded to 29, including every tribal district. This year with 6 new districts covered, every district in KP will have 1122 coverage.
