National University of Medical Sciences Islamabad will conduct an entry test for students seeking admission to MBBS and BDS programs for the 2025-2026 academic session. FSC Pre-Medical pass students from across Pakistan are eligible to apply. The results of the NUMS MDCAT Entry Test will be announced by NUMS.
NUMS Islamabad has started online registration from today date 30-June-2025.
The NUMS Entry Test is exclusively for students seeking admission to military medical and dental colleges affiliated with military teaching hospitals.
The schedule for the entry test admission was announced on June 30, 2025. All candidates are required to appear in the NUMS MDCAT Entry Test to gain admission to Army Medical Colleges in Rawalpindi and other Army Medical Colleges across Pakistan.
Eligibility criteria for Entry test
- Pakistani nationals/Overseas Pakistanis with at least intermediate (FSC Pre-Medical) HSSC Grade 12 and a minimum of 70% marks are eligible to appear for the NUMS MDCAT 2025 entrance test.
- FSC/HSSC/A-Level/Grade 12 holders awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the NUMS MDCAT 2025 entrance test.
- The NUMS MDCAT entrance test will be held on September 14, 2025, and is valid for admission to the MBBS/BDS course for the 2025-2026 academic year only.

Entry Test Paper Pattern of MDCAT NUMS:
- The entry test paper with 150 MCQs and passing marks will be 60 percent means if you got 120 marks from 200 than student will be consider pass. The subjects will be Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English.
- The entry test duration and paper pattern is same like UHS Lahore MDCAT entry Test.
- Entry Test Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes.
- Part B: psychological test: shall consist of 50 one best option type multiple choice questions MCQs with stipulated time of 15 minutes.

NUMS Entry Test Cities / Stations
NUMS MDCAT Entry test will be held in following city centres, depends on the number of applicants. The entry test will be starts from 10:00 AM Morning 14 September 2025.

The candidate must select any two of the above-mentioned cities or stations as their preferred locations for the entry test. However, this selection is subject to the seating capacity available at each station. The university reserves the right to transfer any candidate to the nearest alternative city if necessary. Candidates are advised to choose cities closest to their residence for their own convenience.
How to Apply
The online application form is available at www.numspak.edu.pk. Please fill out the registration form using a desktop computer; do not use a mobile phone, as the form may not submit properly. After submitting the application, print the deposit slip, pay the required fee at the nearest HBL Bank branch, and submit all relevant documents to NUMS Headquarters in Islamabad.
