Mehran University of engineering and technology Jamshoro announced the entry test schedule for Admissions session. The Candidates who wants to take admission in 1st year, its compulsory to Join these entry test Exams. The candidates who has not received yet admit card before dated 21 October 2018, are requested by Mehran University to contact admission office from dated Because Admit card is compulsory for Entry Test Exams, others candidates are strictly advised to search University before 9:00 am at Mehran University Gate, the candidates don’t take Pen, Purse, Calculator, Mobile Phones etc with them only brings Admit Card with them for appearing in Entry Test.
The entry test will be held on dated 26 October 2014, the results of these entry tests will be held on dated 28 October 2018. Merit lists will be displayed on dated 02 November 2018 and interviews will be held at different dates as, as your districts.

Keys to tests:The test was conducted by pre-admission test committee headed by Prof Rasool Bux Mahar.Around 10,000 candidates appeared in the pre-entry test for admission in 17 faculties of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology’s (MUET) main campus and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto campus (Khairpur Mirs) on Sunday.
According to university spokesman Imdad Soomro, for 1,800 seats, around 11,490 forms were obtained and 11,101 were submitted by candidates. Admit cards were issued to 10,976 candidates. Results of entry test would be displayed on Oct 28 in the university and the same would be available on the university’s website.
MUET vice chancellor Dr Mohammad Aslam Uqaili visited the venue of the test along with the vigilance team members, Quaid-i-Awam Engineering University, Shaheed Benazirabad, VC Prof Dr Abdul Karim Baloch, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, vice-chancellor Prof Mujeebuddin Sahrai and others.
It was the 18th pre-entry test of MUET which had taken lead among all universities by organising such a test for the first time in 1998.
Mr Uqaili said the number of students seeking admission in the MUET was increasing every year. He said the MUET was counted among the 400 best universities due to its performance and quality of education. He said that the MUET had introduced online system of admission as well which helped students fill in the forms easily.
