BSCS

Admission Requirements

Candidates who have passed their Intermediate with Science or Computer or equivalent Degree with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission in the BSCS (Hons) Program.

Admission Criteria

All applications are evaluated on the basis of merit as determined by the applicant’s previous academic record and performance in the College Admission Test.

Admission Test

Admission test is held to evaluate the ability of the applicants in areas of English, Physics, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Computer Fundamentals. It consists of two contains sections; qualitative and quantitative.

MIT Admission Requirements and criteria

The affiliated college will enroll number of students approved by the University of the Punjab for admission to the first academic year leading to Part 1 Annual Examination for the program and communicate the details of newly enrolled students on prescribed Performa within one month of the start of the academic year for registration with the University of the Punjab. The eligibility criterion for admission for the program is as under:

Minimum 2nd Division in graduation from a recognized university.

Age limit for candidate(s) seeking admission for the program shall be governed by the University Regulations of University of The Punjab.

Admissions to the second academic year class, leading to the Part II Examination, shall be either on regular or on provisional basis.

The regular admission may be given, at the time of normal admission, to those candidates who qualify, in accordance with the prescribed Statutes and Regulations for Part 1 Annual Examination.

The provisional admission may be given to those candidates:

Who have not yet been able to qualify the Part I Annual Examination on account of their result having not been declared.

Those who have failed in Part I Annual Examination.

Who after having submitted the examination admission forms according to the Regulation VIII (2) infra, to appear in the Part I Annual Examination, did not appear in that Examination.

Provisional admission of the above-noted categories of students shall be deemed to have been converted to regular admission, with effect from the date of commencement of the second academic year class, on their having passed Part I Examination within the prescribed number of chances. If a provisionally admitted student fails to appear in, or does not qualify, in accordance with the prescribed Rules and Regulations and within the prescribed number of chances, Part I Examination, his/her provisional admission shall stand cancelled.

Business Studies

BBA Admission Requirements

Candidates who have passed their Intermediate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission in the BBA (Hons) Program.

All applications are evaluated on the basis of merit as determined by the applicant’s previous academic record and performance in the College Admission Test.

College Admission Test

Admission test to evaluate the ability of the applicants in areas of English and Mathematics is of two hours duration and contains two qualitative and quantitative sections. In order to prepare for the test, applicants may practice exercises from SAT-1 books. The College Admission Test has two parts and a total of 100 marks, out of which 50 marks are allocated to Mathematics section and 50 marks are allocated to English comprehension and Functional English.

MBA Admission

Total number of seats, their allocation, eligibility and the procedure for admission to the first year academic year leading to Part I Annual Examination, will be prescribed separately for affiliated colleges

Admission to the second or third academic year class, leading to the Part II or III Examination, shall be either on regular or on provisional basis.

The regular admission may be given, at the time of normal admission, to those candidates who have qualified, in accordance with the prescribed Statues and Regulations, the Part I or II Annual Examination as the case may be.

The provisional admission to the second or third academic year class may be given to those candidates:

Who have not yet been able to qualify the Part I, or Part II Annual Examination on account of their result having not been declared;

Who have got exemption in Part I or I1 Annual Examination.

Eligibility Criteria

“As laid out by University of the Punjab for degree program of bachelors in chemical engineering”:

  2. b) Petroleum Technology /Petrochemical for admission in B.Sc (Engg.) Chemical Engineering with specialization in Petroleum & Gas and Gas Technology.
