District Wise Cash Disbursements Charts
To track the aid activities, Flood Portal by PITB categorizes and updates the district wise cash disbursements by Bank of Punjab. According to the charts below, the highest number of beneficiaries is from Jhang, Multan, and Muzaffargargh, the three severely flood targeted districts. These charts include the data from 16 flood hit districts of Punjab.
Using smartphone technologies, government is collecting real time data of flood victims. The data includes the name, nature of the damage, aid status, and the facilities available. Data is further supported by geo tagged photos of the damaged property and CNIC of the victim. These data lists are then managed and verified by Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and NADRA, respectively. Based on this data, Bank of Punjab makes cash payments to these people using branchless banking methods such as Mobi cash, U paisa, UBL Omni, and Time pay.
