HEC UNDP Fellowship on Federalism indigenous scholarships

Higher education commission HEC and United Nations development programme has works together for provides higher educational activities for Pakistani students. HEC and UNDP Provides free M.Phil education for different universities in within Pakistan.

The ceremony was held on dated 16 September 2014 Tuesday for ‘’HEC-UNDP fellowship on federalism’’ this ceremony was held at HEC headquarter Islamabad.  The selected candidates for MPhil will be gives following programs:

the federation after the 18th Amendment, political economy of decentralisation in southern Punjab, fiscal federalism in Pakistan, the 18th Amendment and development outcomes through LG systems with a case study of decentralisation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, analysis of the 7th NFC with reference to Balochistan, devolution plan of 2001 and its implications on district bureaucracy, politics of provincial autonomy and community mobilisation.

Twelve scholars have been selected for MPhil program, these scholars from KPK, Balochistan, Punjab, and Gilgit Baltistan. These candidates are studying in top universities of Pakistan, the universities are:

the Government College University Lahore, the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics Islamabad, University of Peshawar, National University of Modern Languages Islamabad, Quaid-i-Azam University and the International Islamic University Islamabad.
