Federal government of Pakistan announced scholarship scheme for balochistani students for studding in best Pakistani universities as well as International universities under expenses of government of Pakistan. Federal Government recently orders HEC higher education commission to provide scholarships to balochistani students. HEC Islamabad starts taking scholarship applications from Balochistani students under scholarship program Aghaz e Haqooq e Balochistan. HEC already starting taking scholarship applications from balochistani students from January 2017, now government announced more scholarship and include more 600/- seats for balochistani students.

According to federal news that government approved 600 scholarships for balochistani students in which 400 selected students will be got free education in Pakistani best universities and 200 selected candidates will be send Aboard for Education they will be eligible to study in international universities and colleges after selection.

The interested candidates from balochistan may send their scholarship applications but the selection process may be take 4 to 5 months, but the budget amount is already reserved for Aghaz e Haqooq e Balochistan Scholarship purpose. So the budgeted amount must be spend on Balochistani students for learning purpose and making balochistani students educated and professional that new generation of balochistani become successful in every field of life.

The Indigenous Scholarship programme is focused to enhance the research culture in local universities/research institutes. Higher Education Commission facilitates indigenous scholars with research facilities to explore solutions to local problems and contribute to national cause. Under this scholarship programme, 400 Indigenous Scholarships are being offered to local domicile holders of Balochistan, on district quota basis. These qualified researchers will improve the R&D potential of provincial universities/research institutes and will help strengthen the local industrial sector.
