Basant Festival in Pakistani cities like Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Gujranwala, and Karachi are not made form last five years due to Administration and security issues in Pakistan.

Basant in Pakistan year 2013, The new government announced the Basant festival in lahore on dated 14-04-2013.

Pakistani people are suffering very hard from last five years due to terest, load shading, security issues has increased in Pakistan and the cities of the Pakistan. The Basant festival in Pakistan is closed due to Metal Door reason because people are flying patangs (kites) with hard door.

Many teenagers were killed due to fall from their roofs. If people are not using metal doors with kites, than this festival can happy the people of Pakistan. Lahore is not completed without basant thousands of people are comming in lahore just for Celebrating this basant festival. Pakistan can earn thousands of foreign exchange from this festival, if proper team has worked for the management of basant festival in lahore.

This is also wish of Pakistani teenagers specially lahori people always waiting basant festival.

The Date of Basant in Lahore has announced from the association of basant festival The Date is 26-February-2012. Butt the Government of Pakistan has not announced yet.
